Diners can enjoy hearing about Kevin’s interesting and varied career spanning over two decades in regional media. A former presenter of Anglia’s flagship news programme, Anglia Tonight, and seasoned sports reporter, Kevin has been nominated three times for the Royal Television Society’s ‘Regional Sports Presenter of the Year’ award.
He was involved in the launch of ITV's Formula 1 coverage in 1997, attracting Martin Brundle, Murray Walker and Louise Goodman to the ITV line-up before producing network documentaries on Murray Walker and Eddie Jordan.
A seasoned journalist, Kevin co-wrote former Norwich City goalkeeper Bryan Gunn's autobiography ‘In Where It Hurts’ and also writes a weekly sports column for the Eastern Daily Press. He now runs his own production company whose credits include coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, the 2008 UEFA European Championships in Switzerland and the World Rally Championship.
As well as being entertained by Kevin’s recollections and anecdotes, diners will be treated to a fabulous three course lunch, courtesy of The Beechwood’s proprietors, with all proceeds going to support the work of The Benjamin Foundation.
