Priority is given to those eligible for free school meals. The Benjamin Foundation runs the service on behalf of the Thetford and North Walsham clusters of schools, supported by the Disadvantage Subsidy Fund.

In each area an A4U Coordinator delivers and provides access to activities for the relevant children in each school cluster. Places are offered free, or at a nominal cost, to eligible FSM children with any remaining places being offered to other pupils at a reasonable cost.

Examples of the types of activities which are available include sports, music, arts and crafts and dance. Activities are arranged in consultation with the children and young people in each of the areas.

A4U works closely alongside our BOOM service to ensure that children are fully supported and encouraged to access a range of positive activities.
