Thanks to Investing in Communities funding, the basement of our Aspire centre has been transformed into a training facility that is stylish, spacious and totally flexible. From presentations and classroom style teaching to practical workshops and craft activities; the open plan space has been designed to inspire young people to discover new passions, develop new skills, regain their confidence and a sense of self-worth.

The Benjamin Foundation’s aim is for complementary organisations, other charities and agencies to utilise the Bass-ment space; ensuring that as many young people as possible benefit from the facilities.

Facilities include a fully equipped music and recording studio, a state of the art IT suite, training kitchen and open plan workshop space suitable for a variety of uses. 

Above the Bass-ment, on the ground floor of Aspire, is the Upper-deck. This light and airy room has its own entrance and disabled access. A completely flexible space, the Upper-deck has its own kitchen and toilet/bathroom facilities plus smaller ‘break-out’ rooms which can be rented out separately. Two of the small rooms can be accessed independently from the street, making them perfect for individual, private hire.
