I can still recall, with slight unease, a couple of yearsinto the life of The Benjamin Foundation being asked by the Trustees to produce a three-year Business Plan. Of course doing such an exercise would appear to make very good sense. Planning carefully what one is trying to put in place, and to ensure the sustainability of existing provision, has to be good business practice. But planning is so difficult in the Voluntary Sector.
