Locum Support Workers

Steven Newing House, is one of our supported housing projects working with young homeless people aged 16-25. The project is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides a wide range of support and guidance to enable residents to successfully move on to full independence.  We are looking to recruit a small team of Locum Support Workers to cover annual leave and sickness on a casual basis. All applicants must be prepared to undertake an enhanced CRB check.  Some experience of working with young people within a supported housing project is desirable. Applicants will also need to have a good understanding of the issues and needs surrounding this challenging client group.

Shifts can involve working during evenings and weekends sometimes at short notice.  There will also be a significant amount of lone working with an on-call system available.  If you are interested in applying for this position please contact the staff team at Steven Newing House for an application form on 01328 855181.

Additional Opportunities

We are seeking to appoint additional Bank Staff for our crèche, playgroup and after school and holiday clubs.

The Foundation is also seeking additional Volunteers and Locums for its service delivery areas
