Winston Court has provided supported accommodation to young single homeless people in North Walsham since it opened on 8th December 1997. The centre offers nine single accommodation rooms and two semi-independent move-on flats. Our facilities include a fully equipped communal kitchen, laundry room, lounge and games room.

Many of our residents come through the referral process via one of the many agencies in the area that works with young people, although we do offer direct access.

Winston Court is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

On admission, residents are allocated a Support Worker who works with them to draw up a Support Plan, identifying and addressing any issues they may have. This process also identifies areas of life and social skills that they need to improve on to enable them to live independently.

The staff work hard at providing a range of activities, such as trips to local events, off-road cycling, games tournaments - in particular against Steven Newing House and residential trips to Dunton. Our Centre Support Group works towards raising funds for any outside activities.
